Our Prayers

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life.”

John 14:6

Lord Jesus, thank you that you are truth in an era of misinformation You came to us as the Living Word, and we pray for wisdom and discernment to live out your teaching in a skeptical world. Please help us to offer your truth to those who long to find a better way to live. We pray in your name. Amen.

Life & Work

Glasgow Presbytery

Life and Work is the Church of Scotland’s monthly magazine. The March issue has a specific feature about Glasgow Presbytery. On the assumption that this might be of interest to some folk who are not subscribers we have obtained six extra copies. These are available for uplift at the back of the church. If you do take a copy please return it the following Sunday so that others may have the opportunity to read it. Alternatively click on the Life and Work image.

History

The present Church was designed by Robert McLachlane and completed in 1790, just as the new planned village of Eaglesham was taking shape. The Gothic-style structure, originally octagonal, is joined to a classical ashler steeple with clock tower, inscribed with the uncompromising

'woe is unto me if I preach not the Gospel'
